Introduction
This paper will address the following questions as it pertains to data analysis approach and quantitative and qualitative result reporting for BP. “How will you have access to the population to be sampled or interviewed? What are the instruments you will use to collect data or qualitative information? What is the appropriate sampling method? What sampling frame will be used? What is the appropriate sampling size? How will the sample size be determined? Which qualitative methods will be used and why? Which statistical tests will be used and

The focus groups will be randomly selected individuals that may not visit BP stations. This is why stratified sampling is chosen, because this will be random but primarily within a group. The size will be determined by a given time frame; the appropriate size is not determined because BP would like to sample as many people as possible. The gas stations will have three months to survey and interview as many patrons as possible. The researchers will also have the same time frame to conduct the focus group interviews.
Qualitative Method/Statistical Tests/ Displaying Results
“The researcher chooses a qualitative methodology based on the project’s purpose; its schedule, including the speed with which insights are needed; its budget; the issue(s) or topics(s) being studied; the types of participants needed; and the researcher’s skill, personality, and preferences” (Cooper & Schindler, 2014, p. 151). As mentioned previously, BP will conduct various surveys, interviews, and focus groups. The interviews conducted will be a structured interview with close ended questions. This type of interview format would be best because all participants will be asked the same questions and will have the same answers to select from; therefore, the answers would be easier to compare.
